JUSTUS KNUT SCHOMANN
Born in Cologne in 1999, Justus Knut Schomann is a German designer working at the intersection of furniture, interiors, and collectible design. After studying Integrated Design and gaining formative experience as Personal Assistant to designer Mike Meiré, he began developing his own independent practice. His work was first presented at the IMM Trade Fair in 2024, where it received recognition for its clarity and strong material presence.
Schomann’s personal approach is rooted in an interest in cultural context, material exploration, and enduring form. He seeks to create pieces that are formally reduced yet emotionally resonant—objects that carry weight and presence without excess.
